UNICOM® Global acquires IBM® Rational® Focal Point and Rational® PurifyPlusTM solutions from IBM Corp.

Transaction brings over 2,000 customers in 40 countries to UNICOM

MISSION HILLS, CA – December 31, 2014 – UNICOM Systems, Inc., a Division of UNICOM Global, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of two (2) software solutions from International Business Machines Corporation (IBM).  The acquisition from IBM’s Rational brand includes the Focal Point Product Portfolio and Program Management (PPM) solution, and the PurifyPlus dynamic Software Analysis Tools solution.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

UNICOM Global’s founder, president and CEO, Mr. Corry Hong, expressed his appreciation for the strong cooperation between the companies in the newest transaction, the fourth and fifth acquisition in the previous 12 months.
