Los Angeles, CA and Falls Church, VA (June 28, 2013) - UNICOM® Global is pleased to announce that its founder, president and CEO, Mr. Corry Hong, today signed an all-cash deal for UNICOM® Systems, Inc. to acquire various assets, properties, rights and interests (“Acentia Commercial”) from Acentia, LLC, a Maryland limited liability corporation, and from ITSolutions Net, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
“Acentia Commercial is a CICSCO Silver Certified Partner providing high quality solutions to the education, healthcare and SLED sectors,” said Mr. Hong shortly after the signing of the Asset Purchase and Sale Agreement. “UNICOM Government is a CISCO Gold Certified Partner. With the acquisition of Acentia Commercial, we will be able to offer CISCO Systems’ core capabilities, including Connected Health, VBlock systems, Unified Communications, Remote Expert, BYOD, and FlexPod Data Center Virtualization to UNICOM Global’s Fortune 500, Global 2000, the U.S. Federal Government, State, Local and Municipal government customers, and to key healthcare providers.”
UNICOM Global will focus on integrating and leveraging its expanding presence in the Washington DC-metro area to augment its leadership position throughout its government and commercial customer base. The customer-briefing center and technical lab facilities at the UNICOM Government offices in Virginia will provide additional resources for Acentia Commercial’s customers as the integration of the companies expand their collective reach.
Acentia Commercial has offices in the Washington DC metro area and in Raleigh, North Carolina, with long-term relationships with public and commercial customers.
